How does this work?

OSG puts a modern twist on a classic way of doing business. OSG offers free no obligation evaluations on popular systems. What this means is, you don't pay OSG one cent, until you decide you wish to. It's really that simple.  No risk to you.

So, if you submit a system for free evaluation through a Depot, all you do is take your troubled system to a Depot. You will fill out an individually numbered slip. A copy of this slip stays for the Depots records, a copy goes with you to acknowledge that OSG has your faulty system (and gives you a claim number). The last copy goes to OSG with your system, so we know what your issue is,can add it to our tracking database, and how to get in touch with you. OSG picks up at Edmonton local Depots on a weekly to twice weekly basis. This means you can expect your free no obligation evaluation usually within 3 to 8 days (Edmonton local). Once we have given you your evaluation, you can tell us how to proceed immediately, or you can get back to us within 30 days of receiving your evaluation with your intentions. (outside that 30 day period, systems become classified as abandoned) It's as simple as telling us what you want us to do. Fix it. Don't fix it and return it. Toss it in the recycle bin, you've got 30 days to decide what suits your needs best.

Now, if you wish to submit a system for free evaluation through OSG's Mail Order Service, all you do is contact us via e-mail for shipping address and shipping instructions. Your e-mail correspondence with OSG is printed on your end, and placed in your (self supplied) shipping box with your contact information. Once it arrives at OSG and is processed into our tracking database you can expect your free no obligation evaluation usually within 3 to 8 days. Once we have given you your evaluation, you can tell us how to proceed immediately, or you can get back to us within 30 days of receiving your evaluation. (outside that 30 day period, systems become classified as abandoned) It's as simple as telling us what you want us to do. Fix it. Don't fix it and return it (return shipping costs apply with NO handling charges). Have us toss it in the recycle bin, you've got 30 days to decide what suits your needs best.

So that's it in a nutshell. If you have further questions, feel free to call or e-mail. All legible e-mails are responded to, and if you miss us on the phone, we have 24 hour voice mail service, which is regularly checked, numerous times every business day. For Mail Order inquiries, please use e-mail. We don't respond to long distance voice messages looking for basic inquiry information.

Now I know that there are some other places out there that offer pricing prior to seeing your system, and may also offer "same-day" service. Now, as good as that sounds, as a professional repair tech with many years of experience under my belt, I do not understand how a service like that operates. Flat rate repairs means some people are being charged too much for their repair, guaranteed. "Same Day" service means (in my professional opinion) inadequate testing and troubleshooting time to ensure reliable results. If you can find a reliable service that guarantees diagnosis and price, AND same day service, without seeing your console, all I can say is that is very impressive. If I had the psychic abilities necessary to provide service at that level, I'd probably be better off using those abilities in Las Vegas...  =)
